Design is completely subjective. Unlike something that's objective, like math, design is more of an art. It's not absolute.

Frankly, I think that's what makes it great.

And in the case of auto manufacturers, design is hugely important. According to the latest reports I've read, the second most important element of a buyer's decision is the design of a product. I believe it's because autos still remain a status symbol in our society.

Two of the most stylish vehicles on sale today are the Jeep Wrangler and Mercedes-Benz G-Class. Based off of more vintage variants, they've seen major improvements over the years; however, they're due for all-new replacements.

While the 2018 Jeep Wrangler was unveiled at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show, the all-new Mercedes-Benz G-Class will keep us waiting until the 2018 Detroit Motor Show. Having said that, the G's all-new interior was revealed to the public yesterday.

Though I know they're in two distinct price classes, I've got to ask: WHO delivered a better, all-new design?

Keep in mind that both models are hugely loved as they currently exist and each automaker had a tremendously difficult job to improve upon what's already a proven success. One just did it better than the other.

So, who gets your vote?

Based On DESIGN ALONE, Who Did It Better? Jeep Or Mercedes-Benz?
