Somalia Showcases Progress in Population and Development Planning at New York summit

NEW YORK – Somalia’s Minister of Planning, Investment, and Economic Development, Mohamud Beenebeene, recently participated in the Ministerial session of the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) held in New York, USA.

 

The conference served as a platform for the Minister to highlight Somalia’s recent achievements in population and development planning.

During the session, Minister Beenebeene emphasized the importance of addressing population growth and sustainable development issues in Somalia.
